Welcome to your safari! This is when all your planning and dreaming becomes a reality and your journey with Safari N Smiles begins. You will be picked up at the airport by a trained guide- he's the one holding a sign with your names on it- and feel free to ask any questions during a briefing on the trip ahead. Karibu sana Tanzania! (You are most welcome) Spend some time in Arusha, both the gateway city for most safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to explore. A buzzing urban center with beautiful mountainous views, you can enjoy good restaurants, get any last minute safari needs and pass through streets filled with energy. It’s a snapshot of vibrant Tanzanian city life everything you look for in an urban pit stop. When you stay at Sanna Boutique Hotel, you're in a good position to enjoy this leg of your trip.
Accommodation Sanna Boutique Hotel.
After breakfast and check we will then proceed to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zone. It is also known for its abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) that fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river in the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and offers the unique opportunity to observe interactions between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating and boasts an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (there is a good chance of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will go on another game drive before making your way to the camp. Accommodation: Tarangire Simba Lodge.
After an early breakfast, you will make your way towards the most famous national park in the world: the Serengeti. The drive itself, although long, is spectacular. Seeing the Serengeti for the first time is unforgettable. As you progress into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, "endless plains". The park is made up of 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) and, for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon and defy your senses and perception of distance. It is the home of the Great Migration, two million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and other large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many famous television scenes have been filmed in this park. There's always more to discover in the Serengeti, and you'll get more chances to do so on your return to the park. Ngorongoro Highlands Enjoy cool temperatures, forest wildlife (including elephants, buffaloes and leopards), and fine views of craters and mountains when you visit the Ngorongoro Highlands. Combine a forest location not far from the crater rim with decent safari tents, a dining tent, and friendly staff at Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp. The location also means that you can get an early start down to the crater floor, and the camp is lovely and quiet. Keep an eye out for wandering buffalo and other wildlife when you're moving around camp. Accommodation: Kudu Lodge and CampSite.

Utterly unlike anywhere else in Tanzania, Zanzibar Island is a fascinating place to explore. Beautiful beaches and scenery are part of the appeal here, but the architecture and atmosphere in Stone Town and elsewhere are highlights. Stunning buildings and markets that carry strong echoes of the spice trade make for a memorable stay.

It turned out to be a fantastic and humbling experience. Morris and his team put together a very well organized schedule mixing charity work with sightseeing and leisure time. The small group of professionals worked so well together it was amazing to see them in action. I am ready to go again and pitch in where I can. I highly recommend these folks for your next tour. Getting to see some of the behind-the-scenes work in action was such a treat. Not only are SNS creating beautiful and amazing experiences for travelers, but they also care deeply about the impact they can create to support the people of Kenya and other African nations. With a trip of 20 people, everything felt seamless and very personal. We were picked up by team members from the airport, and the rest was taken care of. The moment we arrived, we were taken care of. From life-changing safari adventures in the Maasai Mara to a beautiful few days at the Indian Ocean in Diani Beach, this trip is one that will always be a top memory. Thanks to the Safari N Smiles team-- Morris, Keshy, Joseph, and Robinson for being such kind people and for taking such good care of all of our guests! Kiri-Gabriella26/05/2024 I recently had the pleasure of joining Safari N Smiles in Kenya, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The trip was exceptionally well-organized, with the perfect balance of thrilling activities and relaxation so there was never a dull moment. One of the highlights was experiencing the Masai Mara from a hot air balloon at sunrise - truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. The safaris themselves were breathtaking, with knowledgeable staff who enhanced our experience with their expertise and passion for wildlife. The food throughout the trip was second to none and the accommodation was great. I also had the opportunity to connect with like-minded innovators who have became good friends along the way. This trip was worth every penny, leaving me with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the beauty of Kenya. I highly recommend Safari N Smiles for anyone looking to combine their dental career with the adventure of a lifetime, it's worth every penny!
